Privacy Notice
GTC Taipei 2026 Free Self-Paced Course Enrollment — Effective: April 30, 2026
1. Controller
The data controller for personal data collected through this enrollment form is NVIDIA Corporation, 2788 San Tomas Expressway, Santa Clara, CA 95051, USA. For privacy-related enquiries, contact privacy@nvidia.com.
2. Data We Collect
When you submit the enrollment form, we collect the following personal data:
- First name and last name
- Business email address — used as the unique identifier for your enrollment and as the delivery address for your course enrollment link.
- Company name
- Course and track selected
- IP address — collected automatically for fraud prevention and rate-limiting purposes.
- Submission timestamp
We do not collect payment information. We do not collect NVIDIA ID, GTC registration number, or any document identifiers.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Fulfilling the Offer — to deliver your course enrollment link by email. Legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- Preventing duplicate enrollments — to enforce the one-course-per-person rule by checking email uniqueness. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Fraud and abuse prevention — to detect automated or fraudulent submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Record-keeping and audit — to maintain accurate records of Offer fulfilment. Legal basis: legitimate interests / compliance with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing
Your personal data may be shared with:
- NVIDIA Academy platform — to provision your course access.
- Email service providers — to send you your enrollment link (processors acting on NVIDIA's behalf under data processing agreements).
- Cloudflare — the Turnstile bot-protection widget processes your browser environment to determine whether you are human. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Retention
Enrollment records are retained for a period of two (2) years from the date of submission, after which they are deleted or anonymized. IP addresses used solely for fraud prevention are retained for 90 days.
6. International Transfers
NVIDIA is a US-based company. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, including NVIDIA's adherence to standard contractual clauses as approved by the European Commission.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Right to restriction — to restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable format.

8. Cookies and Tracking
This enrollment application uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to detect whether you have previously submitted an enrollment from the same browser. No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are embedded in this application, with the exception of the Cloudflare Turnstile widget described in Section 4.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is stored in an encrypted database and transmitted over HTTPS.
10. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
